Dee Beveridge

Dee Beveridge is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She started her career in 1994, working at the Vancouver Provincial Courts in the downtown eastside of Vancouver. Initially she helped people with addiction and mental health issues learn how to manage their problems and minimize their involvement in the criminal justice system. From there, she went on to counsel people individually and in groups who were mandated by the Courts to seek help. She worked in the criminal justice system over a ten-year period throughout the lower mainland including East Vancouver, New Westminster, North Shore, Squamish and Whistler. She specialized in addiction, anger management, child abuse and domestic violence.

More recently, her direction and passion for counselling has been with families, youth and children. At North Shore Family Services, she worked with adults, couples, children, parents and families in the Family Counselling program. She was also employed at Sea to Sky Community Services for several years - developing the Child and Youth Addiction Services program and providing counselling to children, youth, parents and families in Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton.

Dee currently specializes in a number of areas including family counselling, depression, child and youth issues, anxiety, post-partum depression, divorce/separation, domestic violence, substance abuse, anger management and grief.
